Carrie Underwood
Underwood was crowned the winner during the original American Idol season 4 back in 2005. Since then, she has released nine studio albums, including Denim & Rhinestones, in 2022 which features the lead single, “Ghost Story,” and the fan-favorite track, “Hate My Heart.”
The 40-year-old is one of the biggest names in country music and is a 8x GRAMMY winner, a 5x CMA Awards winner for Female Vocalist of the Year, and a 3x ACM Awards winner for Entertainer of the Year.
Scotty McCreery
In May 2011, McCreery won the tenth season of American Idol and continues to make the country genre proud. The singer-songwriter is a new father, the latest country singer to be invited to join the Grand Ole Opry, has just embarked on his headlining The Cab In A Solo Tour, and is in the process of releasing new music, including his new single, “Cab In A Solo.”
“I love this song. I loved writing the song, I love singing the song. It kind of takes me back to that music that I grew up on, you know, in the nineties and even listening to some stuff before the nineties. It’s just a storytelling song,” McCreery said.
Gabby Barrett
Not only is Barrett an American Idol alum, but she is also fresh off the release of her sophomore album, Chapter & Verse. The 14-track collection follows her 2020 platinum debut Goldmine featuring “I Hope,” “The Good Ones,” and “Footprints On The Moon.”
Chayce Beckham
Beckham has been nonstop since his big win on the 2021 season of American Idol. The singer-songwriter has since toured with Bryan on his Country On Tour as well as his 2023 Farm Tour, made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and is preparing for the release of his forthcoming debut album.
Last month, Beckham released a brand new track titled “This Ol’ Rodeo.” He wrote the song with his good friend and one of his favorite people, country artist Stephen Wilson Jr. “It’s about cowboys and cowgirls and we all have a little bit that in us,” Beckham says.
HunterGirl
It’s a special time for guest host HunterGirl as she was just announced as part of CMT’s ‘Next Women of Country’ Class of 2024. She was the runner-up on American Idol in 2022 and has since made big moves on the country scene including the release of her powerful track, “Ain’t About You.”
“The song’s about my life,” HunterGirl said. “This has been my dream since I was a kid. This is what I’ve always wanted to do.”
