The country duo consisting of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney have released five studio albums, including their 2023 release, Bigger Houses. The album features the lead single, “Save Me The Trouble.” Dan + Shay most recently performed the track live at the 57th Annual CMA Awards in November.
“We’re so proud of this one. I think I commented on it on social media. I feel like it’s in the top three Dan and Shay songs we’ve ever written and recorded. Something about it. I feel like it’s up there with “Speechless” and “Tequila” and those songs,” Smyers told Shawn Parr.
You’ll want to tune in all week long as Dan + Shay talk about their new album, upcoming tour, their plans for 2024, and so much more. Plus, they give us some insight on their newest gig, the first-ever coaching duo for season 25 of NBC’s The Voice.
The duo’s accolades include a Grammy Award win for Best Country Duo Group Performance for “Tequila.” They have a Billboard Music Awards win for Top Country Duo / Group. And they’ve won a CMA Award for Vocal Duo of the Year, and many more.
