This Week’s Featured Host: Chase Rice

It might be a “Bad Day To Be a Cold Beer” but it’s always a good day when you’re a fan of Chase Rice. The country singer is this week’s featured host on Shawn Parr’s Backstage Country (July 24 – July 28).

The diamond-certified songwriter released his sixth album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell at the top of 2023. The album includes 13 tracks all of which feature Rice as a songwriter and honors his later father, Daniel Rice.

Rice has been a powerful force in Nashville and country music over the last decade and will continue to be for years to come. He has sold 2.4 million albums and has garnered over 2.4 billion total streams to date.

Rice will continue headlining the Way Down Yonder Tour through July in addition to playing various festivals plus visiting arenas across the U.S. with Old Dominion on the No Bad Vibes Tour later this year.

  This ABC drama about the life of fictional country singers in Nashville is spot on how the Nashville machine works to make ordinary people country music superstars. The show began in 2012 and lasted for six seasons. It starred Charles Esten, Hayden Panettiere, and Connie Britton.
• “The Voice” (2011-present)

  If you have "Live TV" on Hulu, you can watch The Voice's past seasons. You can watch when The Voice Season 24 airs with Reba and Dan + Shay in coaches' chairs. The show will go on as planned and is not affected by the strike.
