For Combs, 2024 has been off to a great start with another No. 1 hit under his belt and having the opportunity to perform “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman at the GRAMMYs. The country star followed up with a statement on Instagram saying it was “a defining moment” of his career.
“Tracy, I want to send my sincerest thanks to you for allowing me to be a part of your moment. Thank you for the impact you have had on my musical journey, and the musical journeys of countless other singers, songwriters, musicians, and fans alike. I hope you felt how much you mean to the world that night. We were all in awe of you up there and I was just the guy lucky enough to have the best seat in the house,” Combs said.
Aside from music, Combs is readying a new venture with his very own Honky Tonk opening up later this year in Nashville. His 69,000-square-foot bar, Category 10, will be taking the place of Wildhorse Saloon, located at 120 2nd Avenue N.
