Hardy is fresh off the release of his new single, “ROCKSTAR,” which he says is his “REDNECKER for rock n roll” and is the first song that he’s released to date that “doesn’t take itself seriously.” The song follows his 2023 album The Mockingbird & The Crow, which contains a mix of country and rock music, and his 2024 release of “QUIT!!”
Hardy also speaks on his journey to becoming one of the biggest names in music today. From the day someone literally wrote “Quit” on a napkin, to now filling up arenas around the world.
“I enjoy having a chip on my shoulder. It inspires me to make more [different] music. That’s such a paradox because I feel like a lot of times, the more I push boundaries, the more like pats on the back you get,” Hardy told Ford.
He continues, “Thankfully my parents have always been really supportive, but I’ve had people in my life that have not been. I think at the end of the day, that’s just fuel to your fire and your drive.”
The singer-songwriter will hit the road in May for his headlining Quit!!! Tour with special guests Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley, and Stephen Wilson Jr. Hardy will also perform at some of the biggest festivals across the country this summer, including Watershed, Faster Horses, Country Thunder, and more.
