Chris Young To Headline July 4th Concert In Nashville
Today (4/18), it was announced that Chris Young will headline the ‘Let Freedom Sing!’ Music City July 4th concert. The country star will perform downtown during the family-friendly event on Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage for the city of Nashville.

Young will be joined by an exciting lineup including Yola (artist, songwriter, and actor), Girl Named Tom (Winners of The Voice in 2021), and Blessing Offor, a two-time GRAMMY Award nominee).
This year’s ‘Let Freedom Sing!’ headlined by Young marks the 21st annual celebration produced by Music City Inc. and the 40th in the city. Previous headliners include Brad Paisley, Old Dominion, Lady A, Sheryl Crow, Martina McBride, Billy Currington, and The Band Perry, among others.
Aside from the epic performances, the downtown event features one of the largest fireworks shows in the country and will also have the pyrotechnics synchronized to a live performance by the Nashville Symphony.
As a reminder, the 2024 ‘Let Freedom Sing!’ Music City July 4th concert in Nashville is free to attend. The yearly event has regularly drawn more than 200,000 attendees with a record-breaking crowd in 2021 of 350,000.
“In addition to these thrilling performances, we are proud to introduce new elements to enhance the festivities, such as incorporating drones into the fireworks display and partnering with PENCIL to support their invaluable work of empowering Nashville’s youth. We invite everyone to join us for a full day of music, fireworks and giving back to our community,” said Ken Levitan, Chairman of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp.
One dollar from each official event t-shirt sold this year will be donated to PENCIL, which raises funds and donates school supplies to Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Most recently, the 2024 headliner, Young, released his new album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, featuring “Looking For You,” “Double Down,” “Gettin’ Older,” and “Right Now.” It is the multi-platinum entertainer’s largest project to date with 18 tracks.
