This March marks ten years since the Song Suffragettes was formed. The Song Suffragettes, the only all-female singer-songwriter showcase at The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville every Monday night, has become a Music City staple.
“In ten years, Song Suffragettes has showcased over 400 of the most talented women in Nashville with over 60 of those going on to receive music publishing deals and 40 landing recording contracts. Add to that, shows in the U.K. and New York City – all part of our commitment to championing the most talented singer-songwriters we can find,” Song Suffragettes posted on Instagram.
Most recently, several members of the Song Suffragettes, including Mae Estes, Emily Ann Roberts, Lauren Watkins, Karley Scott Collins, Madeline Marlo, and Twinnie, were announced as the Class of 2024 CMT Next Women of Country.
Tickets go on sale for the Song Suffragettes 10 Anniversary Celebration on Friday, February 9 at 10 am.
