Parker McCollum’s Pyro Filled ‘Burn It Down’ Tour
Parker McCollum‘s pyro-filled Burn It Down Tour is happening now, with special guests Corey Kent, Larry Fleet, George Birge, and Catie Offerman. The country star kicked off his headlining trek at the top of the year with 41 U.S. dates on his calendar.
The multi-platinum singer-songwriter started in Spokane, Washington back in January, and will wrap things up in his home state of Texas in August. McCollum’s tour, named after his current single, “Burn It Down,” is featured on his major label debut album, Never Enough, which has brought a new meaning to the show.

While McCollum was always against any type of pyro featured in his live performances, now, he admits, it’s his favorite part of the show. While hosting Backstage Country alongside Kelly Ford, the 31-year-old revealed that he recently rebuilt the show including new lights, set, and everything, while saying it has been an “absolutely incredible” journey so far.
Although McCollum hates to admit it, him and his band do not have any set pre show rituals. However, he’s always kept something his dad told him very close to his heart no matter what he may be doing and that is what his band embodies today.
“My dad’s always told me, “act like you’ve been there.” So, no matter where you are, act like you’ve been there. And I’ve been tested with that over and over and over again in my career, which is a good thing,” McCollum said
He continued, “I try not to get too in my head about stuff, and I really try to reflect afterwards. Being in the moment is very hard for me because it’s so much easier said than done. But my whole thing is I just want to go out there and rip, and really perform and sound well, and you want people to walk away being like, yeah, he belongs up there.”
