“We’ve got some big plans for the Off The Rails Tour,” shares Gilbert. “Not only will we be sprinkling in some new tracks, but we’ve found a way to add even more songs into the setlist, so you’ll be hearing a good mix of longtime favorites, deep cuts, and unreleased material. We’re really looking forward to giving BG Nation the first taste of what we have in store for the next album…it’s going to be a wild ride,” Gilbert shared in a press statement.
Gilbert’s tour includes dates now through August and will feature special guests Dylan Marlowe, Struggle Jennings, and Demum Jones. With the tour underway, comes the introduction to his forthcoming album, a brand new track of the same name, “Off The Rails.”
“I’ve really enjoyed writing for this new album, and it’s been an absolute blast to toy around with a few different sounds in the studio,” Gilbert reveals. “I think we’re focusing a bit more on instrumentation and leaning even further into some of my roots and early influences.”
The news on his next album and headling tour follows his run of dates last year on Nickelback’s Get Rollin’ Tour. Gilbert released his sixth studio album, So Help Me God, including “Son Of The Dirty South” featuring Jelly Roll, “Rolex On A Redneck, and “Heaven By Then” in 2022.
