Sam Hunt Announces 2023 Summer Tour
Sam Hunt has announced his “Summer On The Ooutskirts Tour” with special guests Brett Young and Lily Rose. The tour kicks off July 6 in Hartford, Connecticut, and runs across the country with stops including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Mountain View, New York City, Orange Beach, Raleigh, and St. Louis.
Sam told us recently about getting back on the road. “I have a whole new appreciation for being out on the road not being able to tour for two years (because of COVID). Me and my guys that I travel with we’ve all been together for a long time now. So, we really hit our stride last year on really knowing how to tour and keeping quality of life high.”
Hunt added, “We were getting up and going to breakfast and having all of us getting to talk for a couple of hours in the morning. And then trying to exercise and doing something active during the day, not staying up too late at night. All these little things that you are too excited to do when you first get started. These little things, if you could just keep them steady out there, you can really have a much better time. So, this past summer, we had an absolute blast. The best year of touring I’ve ever had.”
Sam hopes to take out his wife Hannah and baby girl Lucy Lu on the road this time. He told us, “I can’t be away from that little girl that much because this next year she gonna be growing and changing, so Hannah and Lu are gonna come out. She says that she’s gonna come to all the shows, so I’m gonna try to hold her to that.”
Hunt continued, “I know it can be hard on mom and baby out there on the road because the accommodations aren’t quite the best thing because routine is so important. I’m gonna try to make it as comfortable as I can because I would really love for them to join me as much as they are up for it.”
Tickets will be available starting with the Verizon presale beginning Tuesday, March 7 at 10 AM local time. Additional presales will be available throughout the week before the general on-sale beginning Friday, March 10 at 10 AM local time at samhunt.com.
