It’s the most wonderful time of the year because the lineup for the New Faces of Country Music Show at the 2024 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) has been announced. George Birge, Megan Moroney, Conner Smith, Corey Kent, and Dillon Carmichael will perform at this year’s showcase.

The five artists selected will perform at the New Faces of Country Music Show, which is held every year during the annual convention in Nashville, Tennessee, and serves as a platform to showcase emerging artists.

Chuck Aly, CRS New Faces Committee Chairman, states, “With five of 2023’s top 10 airplay artists earning that distinction for the first time, there’s no doubt country music is surging at every level. The 2024 New Faces class is another prime example, and yet one more reason to look forward to the country industry’s most important B2B event – CRS.”

Birge, Moroney, Smith, Kent, and Carmichael have each made a mark on the country music industry within the last year. With No. 1 hits and headlining tours, and above all, their notable success on country radio, these artists have proven why they were voted into the 2024 showcase.

“What an INSANE YEAR, thank y’all so much for voting me into the CRS class of 2024 with some of the most talented new artists I know. I barely kept it together when I got the call and I can’t wait for you guys to hear what else we have on the way,” Birge captioned a video on Instagram.

Between Birge’s top 10-and-climbing “Mind On You,” Moroney’s No. 1 hit, “Tennessee Orange,” Smith’s “Take It Slow,” Kent’s certified-platinum “Wild As Her,” and Carmichael’s “Son Of A,” together, they are the future of country music.

“It’s changing my life, man. It’s one of those things, I had nothing going on when I put this song out, and it’s just opened every door for me. It’s kind of been the little song that could,” Birge said.

  • Megan Moroney

Country music “met somebody” back in 2022 when a song titled “Tennessee Orange” was released. Megan Moroney had a big year while also celebrating her first-ever No. 1 hit. 2024 will only be even bigger for the singer-songwriter.

  • Dillon Carmichael

Dillon Carmichael is fresh off the release of his new project, a four-track collection, titled Where I Grow Up.  The singer-songwriter is currently climbing the country radio charts with his Jon Pardi-produced single “Drinkin’ Problems.”
