George Birge Releases New Country Anthem, “Cowboy Songs”
George Birge has released a brand new track titled “Cowboy Songs” following his No. 1 hit, “Mind On You.” The country singer says it might just be his favorite song he’s ever written and is “so fired up” to share it with everyone.

Birge co-wrote the powerful yet modern-country anthem, “Cowboy Songs,” alongside Michael Tyler and Lalo Guzman. The song marks the breakout star’s second single to be released to country radio.
“Growing up playing dive bars in Texas, I always wanted to capture that image in a song,” explains Birge. “The moment we started writing ‘Cowboy Songs,’ I was instantly transported back to a hot, smoky, throwback dance hall night in the Austin, Texas that I grew up in. I couldn’t love it more.”
Birge released his debut album, a 10-track collection, last May, and has since been one to watch for country fans everywhere. It features his single, “Mind On You,” and his viral smash, “Beer Beer, Truck Truck.”
“It’s changing my life, man. It’s one of those things, I had nothing going on when I put this song out, and it’s just opened every door for me. It’s kind of been the little song that could,” Birge said of his single, “Mind On You.”
Birge was selected as one of the New Faces of Country Music for CRS 2024 next week in Nashville. He is joined by Dillon Carmichael, Corey Kent, Megan Moroney, and Conner Smith for the industry showcase.
If you’re looking to catch a live show from Birge this year, you’re in luck. He is currently out on the road as a supporting act on Parker McCollum’s 2024 Burn It Down Tour on select dates and will join Luke Bryan’s Mind Of A Country Boy Tour this spring.
