Luke Combs has teased his new duet with Post Malone and shared a snippet of the new song on his Instagram.

Luke posted a clip of the song, and the lyrics include: "Buddy, what I really need is someone to put tires back in the drive / Lose what's left of my ever-loving mind / I'm damn near down to my last dime."

The chorus sings in part, "She's searching for someone who can build it back / But I ain't got a guy for that / Aint got a guy for that."

Combs captioned the song clip, "We doin' this or what, @postmalone?"

Luke's fans were beside themselves over the new song clip, and many commented on the post. One die-hard wrote, "Love that Posty is everywhere." Another fan said, "This is the track I've been waiting for." One more fan gushed, "Okay, Luke! I heard the light flex."

In February, Malone first teased the duet with Combs. He posted a video of him jamming to his new collaboration with Luke Combs on his Instagram.

In the video, Post is wearing a plaid brown coat and sitting on a chair with a cigarette in his hand, bobbing his head as the song plays. The lyrics say in part, "She's searching for someone whose gonna give it back, and I ain't got time for that."

He captioned the post by tagging Luke, @lukecombs.

Before the ACM Awards show in May, Combs was asked if he would remove himself from the Entertainer category, who he thought should win the top honor in 2024. His answer was Kane Brown. He said that he believed Brown had never received the recognition he deserved.

When we interviewed Kane recently during CMA Fest in June, we told the singer about the support from Combs. He told us, "I thought that was very sweet of him to say that. I actually thanked him and told him that you, but I told him he's full of s---. He said, 'No man, I was just speaking from the heart.'"

He added, "So, I appreciate him. I just look at awards as something I am glad to be nominated for and everybody on that list deserved to win. I just knew that I wasn't going to take it, but it was cool for Luke to say that."

Of course, Lainey Wilson won the Entertainer of the Year honor from the ACM this year. It was her first nomination and win in the category.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
