Wilson’s “God & Country” follows her previously released songs including the title track, “Rebel,” “Strong,” and her current radio single, “Rain In The Rearview.” It’s said that the album is firmly rooted in both country and Christian music. The rising star is credited as a co-writer of each of the sixteen tracks to be featured on her upcoming album.
“I can’t wait for everyone to hear these brand new songs on April 19,” shares Wilson. “I’ve been working so hard over the past 15 months to write these songs, record them and get them into the world! I was raised on two things: the love of God and the love of all things country. That’s what fuels the music I make and that’s what you’ll hear more of on REBEL. I’m just so excited we are this close to releasing the record!”
Last month, Wilson was named among CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2024 alongside Ella Langley, Lauren Watkins, Tigirlily, Huntergirl, and more. She is also currently out on the road for Scotty McCreery‘s Cab In A Solo Tour with scheduled dates now through March.
“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to be a part of this year’s #cmtnextwomen of Country. It’s truly an honor that I don’t take lightly. My love for country music and the beautiful community of artists in it is immense. It’s a dream to be walking alongside these incredible female artists with the support of an organization I’ve loved since ever since I can remember,” Wilson posted on Instagram.
