Scotty McCreery Drops Throwback Christmas Song To Put You In The Spirit

There’s no denying that Scotty McCreery loves Christmas, and we can hear that in his new song, “Feel Like The Holidays.” His original Christmas track takes us back in time while bringing us that signature sound of his.
“I’m an old soul. And this, to me, it’s got the country feel, but it’s also got a little of that Rat Pack [Frank] Sinatra stuff. It’s got a little bit of the Randy Newman [sound] with the clarinet. So it’s kind of a throwback feel, but it’s a very familiar-sounding song, but it’s brand new. Puts you in the spirit right away when you hear it. I sing it with a smile every night on the road this December, because it’s just so fun,” McCreery revealed on Shawn Parr’s Backstage Country.
“We tried to make the song sound and feel warm, You know, by the fire. You’re drinking hot cocoa and you’re listening to ‘Feel Like The Holidays.’ So that’s exactly what we were going for,” McCreery told Shawn Parr.
McCreery’s “Feels Like The Holidays” follows the release of his latest single, “Cab In A Solo,” garnering him the most first-week adds at country radio of his career. The heartbreak track is just a sample of what’s to come from his next album.

Over the next few weeks, country stars including Lauren Alaina, Trace Adkins, Chris Young, Lady A, and many more will hit the stage to participate in the festivities.
