Davis is one of the more animated country stars to post on social media, so it’s no surprise that he’s been sharing videos alongside his children performing the new tune.
If you’re a fan of Davis, then you’re going to want to watch as he puts on a full Santa suit dancing to “Silverado Santa” in the back-up of his pickup truck. Plus, if you thought that was good, you’ll want to check out his Instagram to see him sing to a lifesize Nutcracker, too.
Davis co-wrote “Silverado Santa” with his buddy Josh Byrd. The cover art for the song showcases Davis in a cherry red Chevy sleigh next to Saint Nicholas himself.
The country singer is in full Christmas mode, and he’s not stopping with the EP release. There’s merchandise in support of the Silverado Santa EP and according to his wife on a Facebook Live, Destiny revealed that Davis plans to also release a children’s book.
“Y’all are going to have a fun time with this one, I promise you. You can’t help but dance. Like that’s the man thing with the kids. It just makes you want to get up and start moving,” Davis said of the song on Facebook.
“Silverado Santa” follows the release of his latest song, “21 Guns,” a moving tribute to veterans, and a “small way that we can give back and say our thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and hopefully bring some comfort to their families through knowing they’re not alone as we stand behind them.”
This past September, Davis also released his brand new 17-track album, Life’s Too Short, featuring “Still Gonna Be,” “Pretty,” “Leave It To Love,” “Pray Like Hell,” and more.
