Jelly Roll On Dustin Lynch And His ‘Honest Spirit’
Jelly Roll is giving some praise to his fellow country star, labelmate, and friend, Dustin Lynch, following their collaboration on “Chevrolet.” As a fellow Tennessee kid, this cowboy is one that Jelly Roll has always wanted to work with.

The new country anthem, “Chevrolet,” by Lynch featuring Jelly Roll, was released in September 2023 on Lynch’s sixth studio album, Killed The Cowboy. It was co-written by Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander, Hunter Phelps, and Mentor Williams.
“First of all, before we talk about ‘Chevrolet,’ I’d like to talk about just Dustin Lynch. What a great guy. What an honest spirit,” Jelly Roll said. “And if you’ve never seen him in his natural born habitat, you got to go to Crash My Playa that Luke Bryan has where Dustin Lynch is in charge of the pool party. He’s the mayor of Crash My Playa.”
He continued, “Zach (Jelly Roll’s producer) called me and said, hey, man, I produce for Dustin, too, of course. He’s like, I know you’ve been wanting to work with him. I got a song that might be it, and he sent it. I was like, dude, I’m in. I’m actually really in. So it was really cool to see it come around and be able to work with Dustin.”
Most recently, Jelly Roll kicked off his next era of music by performing a new song, “Liar,” at the 2024 ACM Awards. He also took home the win for Music Event of the Year with Lainey Wilson for “Save Me.”
Jelly Roll, a multi-genre hitmaker, will hit the road this summer for this headlining 2024 Beautifully Broken Tour with special guests Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay. He will also perform at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, June 8 during CMA Fest.
