Lee Brice is getting in the holiday spirit with the release of a music video for his track “Santa Claus Was My Uber Driver.” Christmas came early because the country singer teamed up with some Music City Santas and delivered a very fun visual for his fans.
Brice’s video was filmed at Santa’s Pub in Nashville, Tennessee, which Brice calls “the greatest place on Earth.” The big man in red (several of them) took over the famous dive bar to help bring the idea to life.
“Every word is true, and Santa is actually sitting over there. Writing retreats, travel, sometimes weird things happen, and this actually happened. So that’s what happened,” Brice says in a video teaser on Instagram.
Brice continued, “It’s like God just said this song was supposed to happen. I appreciate all these guys coming out. Santas coming from all parts of the North Pole. I just can’t believe they took the time out of their schedule. I have to fatten up some of you still.”
It was definitely supposed to happen, and the video is Santa galore for those who love the holidays as much as I do. You’ll have the song on repeat and be “Ho Ho Ho” all the way to your local bar in town.
Brice’s “Santa Claus Was My Uber Driver” follows the release of his fifth studio album in 2020, Hey World, featuring “One Of Them Girls,” as well as “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “Soul,” and “Save The Roses.”
The “Santa Claus Was My Uber Driver” singer will hit the road in February for his headlining 2024 Me & My Guitar Tour with special guests Blessing Offor, Allie Colleen, and Lewis Brice on select dates.
