Lady A took center stage during Nashville's favorite holiday tradition on Monday night (12/11): Christmas at the Opry. The country trio was among the lineup of spotlight artists at the Grand Ole Opry for 2023.

Before Lady A's Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood performed their holiday hits from the world-famous Opry stage, the audience was treated to performances by Opry members Mandy Barnett, The Gatlin Brothers, Charlie McCoy, and Riders In The Sky.

Plus, it was a family affair for Scott as she joined her mother, Linda Davis, father, Lang Scott, and sister, Rylee Scott on stage to perform "Tennessee Christmas" among other holiday classics. They even had the legendary McCoy step in to play his harmonica on a song.

It also wouldn't have been a Christmas show without a special visit for the big man in red who also played guitar with The Gatlin Brothers on stage. Santa greeted everyone in attendance of all ages before heading back to the North Pole.

To close out the night as the spotlight artist for Opry Country Christmas, Lady A performed "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," "What Christmas Means To Me" which you can watch below, and more.

The multi-platinum trio recently wrapped up their headlining 2023 Request Line Tour and released a new track titled "A Love Song." It was written by Scott, Haywood, Sam Ellis, and Allison Veltz Cruz.

Lady A will also perform during CMA Country Christmas, which will air this Thursday, December 14 on ABC and the next day on Hulu and Disney+. The television special will be hosted by Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood with Lainey Wilson, Jon Pardi, Ashley McBryde, Jordan Davis, and more also making appearances.

The phrase "Grammy darlings" applies to artists that Grammy voters love and seem to get all the nominations and awards. In country music, it is quite evident in the last 15 years or so who are the darlings of country music at the Grammy Awards: Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Kacey Musgraves.

Nominees this Year for the Grammy for Best Country Album of the Year are Luke Combs for Growin' Up, Miranda Lambert for Palomino, Ashley McBryde for Ashley McBryde Presents Lindeville, Maren Morris for Humble Quest, and country icon Willie Nelson for his album A Beautiful Time. As the February 5th Grammy Awards approach we take a look at winners in that coveted category through the years.
