Kimberly Perry Is A New Mom Of A Baby Boy

Kimberly Perry, who recently launched a solo country career after years with her brothers in The Band Perry, is now a mom. Kimberly posted the joyous news on Instagram, with a photo of the new baby from the chin down.

Perry captioned the post with a scripture, writing, "Oh yes, You shaped me first inside, then out;
You formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation!"

She continued, "You know me inside and out. You know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, You watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before You. The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day. -Psalm 139:13-16 (The Message)."

Many fans responded to the post, including one who wrote, "A mother love! Always hold and cherish that moment in the photo! It's amazing how fast they grow!" One more fan commented, "Oh, Kimberly! He's perfect!! So beautiful."

In a second post to Instagram, Kimberly gave details of the new baby boy, "Welcome to our world, Whit Costello! Born August 26, 2023, 4:01 pm in Nashville, TN. 7 lbs 8 oz. In one short week, Johnny and I have moved from a season of BLOOM into a SUPERBLOOM. Our lives have become sweeter; our days have become so much fuller; our sleep has gotten shorter - our house has truly become a home."
