Morgan Wallen Angers Fans with Last-Minute Concert Cancelation
Morgan Wallen was just minutes away from taking the stage at his concert at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, on Sunday (4/23) when he canceled the show due to vocal issues. Morgan’s fans were informed of the cancellation via an on-screen message moments before he was scheduled to perform, and several fans went to social media to express their anger for the short notice.
Wallen posted on his Insta stories, “After last night’s show, I started losing my voice, so I spent the day resting up, talking to my doctor, and working through my vocal exercises, trying to get better. I really thought I’d be able to take the stage, and it kills me to deliver this so close to stage time, but my voice is shot, and I’m unable to sing. I’m so sorry. I promise you guys I tried everything I could.”
Fans showed their anger over the cancelation on Twitter. Below are a handful of reactions from fans.
