It’s Halloween Season and if you’re like me you know that you want to get a jump on your costume. With shipping times being so crazy sometimes it’s important to start planning in advance. That’s why we’ve put together this list. I love that Halloween is the best excuse to dress up as a character from your favorite show or movie so we’ve put together a list of really cool 80s and 90s inspired Halloween costumes that are straight out of your favorite pop culture moments.

  • 1) Karate Kid/Cobra Kai Costume

With how successful Cobra Kai has been on Netflix this would be an awesome costume to wear! It comes with the shirt, pants, belt, and headband so you can pull off this entire look.

  • 2) Cher Clueless Costume

Going as anything else for Halloween? As if! Clueless is still one of the best movies to come out of the 90s, and forever cemented Alicia Silverstone in my brain as iconic. The fact that she recently did a TikTok recreating the cookie burning scene too makes this a great choice.

  • 3) Wayne’s World Wayne and Garth Wigs

One of the easiest costumes to put together Wayne and Garth from Wayne’s World is a great costume for any dynamic duo. This gives you the perfect Mike Myers and Dana Carvey hair.

  • 4) Wendy Peffercorn Lifeguard Costume

I’m a huge fan of the Sandlot and this Wendy Peffercorn suit might be my favorite! It could easily be paired as a couples costume and all you have to do is raid your partner’s wardrobe for a white shirt, short-sleeved button-down, a backward ball cap, and some glasses and you’ve got the look.

  • 5) Top Gun Flight Suit

With Top Gun: Maverick crushing the box office this year, ladies will be looking for the Top Gun pilots. This flight suit is the perfect costume for guys this Halloween. Definitely going to meet some girls this way.

  • 6) Forrest Gump

Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump is still one of his best performances. This costume would be a great way to pay homage to the iconic movie. It features Forrest in his “running” phase.

  • 7) Saved By The Bell Kelly Kapowski Costume

We all wanted to be Tiffani Amber Thiessen or be with her! This Kelly Kapowski costume is so cute and fun we definitely can see ourselves in this, this year.

  • 8) Spartans Cheerleader

One of my favorite SNL skits! We all remember Will Ferrell as a Spartans cheerleader and so this is a great option for anyone looking to make a splash at a Halloween costume. Plus, if you live somewhere where Halloween has been pretty cold as of late then this is a great choice as it will keep you covered

  • 9) Ghostbuster Costume

It’s a classic for a reason! This costume is incredible. The outfit comes with the Ghostbuster jumpsuit, the Proton Pack with wand, and 4 name tags.

  • 10) Flashdance Costume

I mean I’m already hearing “Maniac” and “What A Feeling” in my head as I look at this. If you loved Flashdance growing up, now is your time to shine!

  • 11) TuneSquad Space Jam Costume

Okay, Space Jam was iconic and this isn’t a hard costume to pull off. You could even go a step further and grab a part of Bugs Bunny ears and make sure yourself Bugs Bunny in Space Jam.

  • 12) Princess Buttercup Costume

I loved the Princess Bride growing up. It’s still one of my favorite movies. This could also be a great couples costume, and this dress is seriously so stunning and so similar to the original!

  • 13) Ferris Bueller Costume

Bueller… Bueller… Bueller. Another iconic costume that could easily be used time and time again. Plus if you have a friend who really doesn’t want to go all out for Halloween but likes to participate, you can just snag them this Gordie Howe jersey and they can be your Cameron Frye.
