For over 20 years, Brad Paisley‘s powerful songwriting has continued growing his fan base worldwide. Now, the country superstar is working toward releasing his upcoming Son Of The Mountains album.

Paisley said of the album, due out in early 2024, in a statement, “doesn’t shy away from reflecting real life and real situations going on in America and in our world today. This is what I think country music is about, which is truth.”
In order to paint the journey back home for the record, Paisley released Sons of the Mountains: The First Four Tracks, on Friday, September 29. The collection of songs includes “Same Here” featuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, “So Many Summers,” “Son Of The Mountains,” and “The Medicine Will.”
Paisley has released two videos alongside the four new songs highlighting his home state of West Virginia and a representation of the Appalachian region. While both listening and watching everything he has released to date, it will have you feeling just about every emotion in the book.
“To do these new songs, I had to go home. Back to that wild, free, beautiful, and also tragic place. So many emotions here for me. From the highs of the New River Gorge Bridge to the lows of an abandoned coal mine, we poured a lot into these,” Paisley shared on Twitter.
While Paisley drew inspiration from his hometown in his latest piece of work, we think it will inspire everyone to give back to their own community as well. Sons Of The Mountains follows Paisley’s 2017 release and twelfth studio album, Love and War.
