Gabby Barrett Announces ‘Chapter & Verse’ Experience In Nashville

It’s a huge week in the life of Gabby Barrett. Not only is the country singer expecting baby No. 3 any second now with her husband, Cade Foehner. But she’s also releasing her sophomore album, Chapter & Verse, on Friday (2/2).

Barrett has announced a 2-day event for her fans in Nashville, Tennesee, to celebrate the album’s release this Thursday and Friday. Although she can’t be there in person, the “You’re My Texas” singer is offering a “backstage look” into her life “on the road and into her new album Chapter & Verse.”

On day two, an album listening event will be held from 3-4 pm, where she encourages fans to tag her in their pictures and videos and “feel like I’m right there with y’all.” Barrett shared details on the experience open to the public on her social media channels, which you can view below.

Barrett’s highly anticipated 2024 album, Chapter & Verse, a 14-track collection, follows her 2020 platinum debut Goldmine featuring “I Hope,” “The Good Ones,” and “Footprints On The Moon.”

We caught up with Barrett back in November at the CMA Awards where she told Jeff Kurkijian of the album, “My first album came out during the big year of COVID during 2020, and so this will be released early February 2, 2024. Yeah, called Chapter & Verse. And we’ve got some awesome collabs on it with Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Phil Wickham, and [some] Christian artists, and I’m co-producing it, so really leaning into it, making sure that it’s the best it can be.”

Barrett released this song independently following her third-place finish on season 16 of American Idol. It led to her signing a deal with Warner Music Nashville. It was released on July 29, 2019, as her debut single and the first from her debut studio album Goldmine. It went all the way to number one.
"Pick Me Up" (2022)
The song’s music video features Gabby as a girl in school and her real husband, Cade, playing her love interest in the video. The video has more than seven million views on YouTube. Barrett co-wrote the song, which is featured as an extended version of the deluxe edition of her debut Goldmine album.
