As someone who recently moved to Music City, I must say I can’t wait to attend my first Preds game here in Nashville. I’ve always admired the love and support the community here shows for the NHL team and the events put on to celebrate them.

The Nashville Predators and the country stars here have always had a solid relationship. Between attending games, performing the National Anthem, hosting fundraisers, and making their way down Broadway on a parade route, there’s always something going on.

Over the years country superstars such as Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley, just to name a few, have all performed the National Anthem at the start of a home game.

Underwood even married into the Predators family back in July of 2010 when she tied the knot to former NHL player and Center for the Preds, Mike Fisher. He officially retired after 17 seasons in August of 2017.

I’m sure by now you’ve already put on your jersey or your version of Smashville gear to get ready to cheer on the team tonight. Bridgestone Arena will be hosting a full day of celebrations, including a “Plaza Party” at 3 p.m. and a “Player Gold Walk” at 4 p.m. all before the puck drops at 7 p.m. CT.

Now that the Nashville Predators 25th Anniversary Season is in full swing, scroll below to see eleven country stars that have cheered on the Preds throughout the years and still do to this day.
