Carrie Underwood Dazzles with Lightning-Fast Costume Changes in Las Vegas Residency
The final stretch of Carrie Underwood’s REFLECTION residency at Resorts World Theatre kicks off March 26. Since 2021, the country superstar’s shows have drawn more than 300,000 fans to the Las Vegas venue.
In a new behind-the-scenes video, which can be seen here, Underwood gives fans a glimpse into the chaos between songs. Her team races against time, swapping outfits and touching up makeup as she moves from hits like “Church Bells” to “Blown Away.”
When Resorts World unveiled its Scéno Plus-designed theater, Underwood made history as its first headliner. Her show features 20 crowd favorites, including nine songs that topped the charts.
The costume change wizardry isn’t just for Vegas. During ABC’s New Year’s Eve show, she wowed audiences by changing outfits three times mid-performance.
“One I was living out my dream, you know, just hoping for anything, just a fraction of this right here, but now I get to be on the other side of it, and I’m still nervous. I’m nervous for them, but I’m also really excited,” said Underwood to Ryan Seacrest about her upcoming return to American Idol.
The final Vegas shows run March 26, 28, 29, and April 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12. Fans can also watch her on American Idol, with a preview airing after the Oscars on ABC March 2.
