Chase Rice Teases New Album for 2025, Embraces Independence and Authenticity
Chase Rice will release his next album in 2025, shortly after putting out his latest 11-song album ‘Go Down Singin’.
Rice plans to add three or four new songs for the upcoming project. “I don’t think we’d be putting out this Go Down Singin’ record if it wasn’t for being independent,” he told Country Central.
Free from label constraints, Rice has totally changed how he creates music. “I don’t even talk in singles anymore because I’m not doing radio,” he explained.
That’s a big change for the songwriter behind Florida Georgia Line’s smash hit ‘Cruise.’ Now he creates exactly what he wants, whenever he wants.
Teaming up with Oscar Charles sparked this musical shift. Their collaboration shines through in both ‘I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell’ and ‘Go Down Singin’.
“It took years for me to find the mental clarity to write that type of genuine country music,” Rice said about his current style.
Being independent means no more waiting for label decisions. His quick release of new albums shows what artists can do when they control their timing.
A controversial show during COVID-19 led him to go solo. That decision changed his path completely.
Now, Rice focuses more on making real music than getting radio plays. Every new track shows this creative freedom.
