Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani: ‘Fanning Out’ To Post Malone
Blake Shelton and his wife Gwen Stefani were in Nashville last night (7/16), where Blake joined Post Malone on stage at a small Nashville music venue to perform their duet “Pour Me A Drink.”
Gwen was in fan-girl mode as she posted several video clips on her Insta Stories from the side stage at the surprise performance, which brought the crowd on their feet and into a frenzy. She filmed as Blake walked on stage, clips from the duet performance, and one other song Shelton and Malone did together.
Stefani then filmed as Blake walked off the stage and back to her, shouting, “Whoa!” The couple enjoyed the show together backstage, and she wrote over one video of them together, “@postmalone—Fanning out.”
The one-night-only show in Nashville was for Malone to perform songs from his highly anticipated album, F-1 Trillion, to an intimate crowd ahead of the full album’s release on August 16th.
At CMA Fest in June, Shelton and Post Malone surprised fans on opening night of the festival to sing their not-yet-released duet, “Pour Me A Drink.”

In June, Malone released the music video for “Pour Me A Drink,” his duet with Blake Shelton, which will appear on Malone’s upcoming country album.
Both Posty and Blake shared the news of the new video on Instagram. Shelton posted a behind-the-scenes clip of the new view and wrote, “Pour Me A Drink” video. @postmalone.”
Many of the singer’s faithful followers commented on the post, including one who asked, “When can I get this song? Love it!” Another fan said, referring to Malone wearing his team’s football jersey, “Should have rocked your @azcardinals jersey.”

The fun music video starts with Malone buying a malt liquor at a convenience store, where Blake is the store clerk. The guys then cut to a party and hug as Post wears his signature Dallas Cowboys jersey.
As the video continues, Shelton and Malone play guitar and sing the song’s infectious lyrics in the back of a pickup truck. The duo keeps the party going and mingles and dances with the crowd. They toast each other with solo cups, and then the video returns to the convenience store, where the party was all a dream.
