Carly Pearce’s CMA Closet Sale Doubles Donation
Carly Pearce raised money for the CMA Foundation with her third annual charity pop-up event, Carly’s Closet. At this event, she gave fans ultimate access and the opportunity to shop handpicked items of clothing, shoes, and accessories from her personal collection.
The Carly’s Closet: Hummingbird edition event was the biggest yet. It doubled last year’s funds, raising $20,000 to benefit the CMA Foundation.
Meanwhile, Pearce just announced her next single, “Truck on Fire.” She says of the new song, “No one wants to be cheated on, but everyone wants to seek revenge. I wrote this song for every girl who has gone through a similar situation and dreams of wreaking havoc on her ex. I got the opportunity to perform the song live while on tour with Tim McGraw, and the way the fans have embraced it has blown me away every single time.
Carly concluded, “I couldn’t think of a better song to make my next single.”

The country star played at Nissan Stadium in Nashville during CMA Fest in June. She’s been playing CMA Fest for a few years, and it never gets old.
Backstage, before her CMA performance, she told us, “I have been lucky enough to be part of the stadium show for the last few years, and my little 10-year-old self that dreamt of one day playing here, those feelings come out in a different way at CMA Fest, I don’t know how else to explain it getting to be on the big stage.”
Carly noted that she’s been dreaming of being a part of it for 34 years. She added, “I used to come a lot with my mom to Fan Fair, and we would sit in the very, very nosebleed sections. I would just look, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of this. So, it’s a little bit surreal, especially at this point in my career, to get to be such a big part of it.”
