Garth Brooks Would Send A Plane To Travis Kelce To Sing At Bar Opening
Garth Brooks said that if Travis Kelce sings “Friends In Low Places” with him at his bar, he will be there and even send a plane to pick up Travis and his friends to come to Nashville.
At the February 14 victory parade in Kansas City, Kelce grabbed the microphone and attempted to sing Brooks’ song, telling the crowd, “If you know this song, sing along!”
In his weekly Studio G Tuesday (2/20), Garth said, “Did you guys see Travis Kelce’s version of ‘Friends in Low Places?’ Did you see him sing this? I loved it; I thought it was fantastic. It blew me away because I’m sitting there watching it as it’s going down, right? I never expected that.”
Brooks told Kelce, “I’ll send a plane if you want and come and get another shot at the title. If you want to come sing that, I’ll send a plane. You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang, whatever you want to do. The plane holds 11; just remember that. So, yes, I’ll be happy to send this invite out to you if you want to try a little ‘Friends in Low Places’ in Friends in Low Places.”

Garth wasn’t planning on being at the opening, but if Kelce comes, he will show up; he said, “Big man, I’m just telling you this. I will be at the grand opening if you’re there.”
Brooks announced that his Nashville bar “Friends In Low Places” official opening date will be March 7.
Garth also said of the bar opening on Studio G that they bought the building in 2021, and it’s taken time and construction to get it to where he wanted it, “It has been a journey, and what do you call it? It’s not a money pit, but it sure takes the dollars pretty good. It sure takes the slot; the slot sure eats them up. It will be great to be open, but now it’s all four floors.”
Brooks said the third floor would be like a convention space, and companies have already booked it five years out. The third floor is also dubbed his wife Trisha Yerwood’s floor, and her food will be served there and throughout the whole bar.
