Luke Combs’s Wife Loves Having Two Kids Under Two
Luke Combs and his wife Nicole headed to Los Angeles, where Luke is a GRAMMY nominee and a performer this year. Before she headed for the plane, Nicole took fan questions in the airport on her Insta Stories.
Many fans asked questions, including one who wanted to know her thoughts on the Combs’ sons’ 13-month age gap. Nicole replied, “I get this question a lot, and for me, I would say being pregnant while taking care of an infant/toddler was a lot harder having 2 under 2. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a LOT of work, but I love the 13-month age gap and would do it again.”
She added, “There’s also a chance I may be absolutely insane, lol.”
One fan asked if she was a “pre-flight drink girl.” Nicole offered, “Nah, I definitely used to be, though. I think I fly so much now that I just forget, lol.”

Combs’s 2024 GRAMMY performance may be one for the history books. According to Variety‘s “sources,” Tracy Chapman, who has not performed in public in years, will return to the spotlight to perform “Fast Car” with Luke at the Grammys on Sunday night (2/5).
Combs won a CMA Award in November (11/8) for Single of The Year for his remake of the Tracy Chapman classic “Fast Car.” Chapman also won the Song of the Year (an award given to the songwriter) for Luke’s version of her song. With that, she became the first African American woman ever to win a CMA Award.
Backstage after his win, Luke shared that he has yet to come face-to-face with Chapman. He said, “You know I haven’t met Tracy. We haven’t communicated outside of our official correspondence to each other. But that is something that I hope to do one day in the future.”
Variety has not confirmed the performance, saying that representatives for the Recording Academy could not be reached for comment.
The 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 4, at 8 PM. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
