Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus Shares Photos Of ‘Weapon Of A Prayer Warrior’
Jay DeMarcus is always providing some comic relief through his social channels and is always very positive within his posts. The Rascal Flatts member is also very spiritual and recently shared a very personal and touching post with his followers about his Momma.

On January 14, DeMarcus posted a photo with his Momma while in Ohio. He shared that she “had a rough week” and has been “ravaged by such a horrible disease.” The country singer followed up with a post on January 29 sharing images of her personal Bible that he had picked up when he made a visit home.
The images show DeMarcus’ mother’s notes in the margins, verses underlined, and the “watershed moments memorialized.” While he admits it’s “amazing to hold, the #mommasboy reveals he can “hear her voice in every ‘note’ she made.”
“While little is left of the strong, faithful woman that raised me, I can hold onto to things like this and for a moment, remember… I can remember the foundation she laid in me-even when I was so aggravated that she would drag us off to church four times a week… She planted the seeds in me that have taken root and prepared me for times just like these. When I feel so helpless to handle all of the things that life inevitably throws at us, my faith carries me through and gives me the strength to keep moving forward. It’s the greatest gift she could’ve ever given me and I’m eternally grateful…,” DeMarcus posted on Facebook.
In the notes, you can clearly read markings such as “Rsacal Flatts’ 1st Award,” “Tough times don’t last but tough people do,” and “faith makes things possible not easy.”
Rascal Flatts’ member Joe Don Rooney commented, “Mama Caron is most special. And her love for The Almighty is mountain top powerful! Praying for your family, brother.”
