See The 2023 CMA Touring Awards Nominees

Let’s face it, without the bus drivers, tour managers, and road crews who travel around the country with your favorite artists, there wouldn’t be any concert memories to look back on. With this in mind, the nominees for the 2023 CMA Touring Awards have officially been announced.

The industry celebration which honors touring professionals for achieving excellence will return to Nashville on Monday, February 12. The 2023 CMA Touring Awards will once again be hosted by country superstar Keith Urban.

The categories for the 2023 CMA Touring Awards include Crew of the Year, Business Manager of the Year, Talent Agent of the Year, Tour Manager of the Year, Coach / Truck Driver of the Year, Venue of the Year, and more. In addition, CMA members have five new categories to vote on this year, Backline Technician, Stage Manager, Support Services Company, and Unsung Hero and Crew of The Year.

“Honoring our touring community is something I look forward to every year,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer in a press statement. “Each time I attend a show, hear a new tour being announced, or see footage from an unforgettable night, I am reminded again of the importance, dedication and resilience of our touring community. I am also especially excited to add five additional categories this year, including a Crew of the Year honor. They are the road warriors that keep Country Music alive all over the world, and I can’t wait to celebrate them on February 12!”

“As someone who spent years not only setting up all my own equipment at shows, but was also for a time a lighting guy and crew member for a band, I know the hard work that goes in to keeping shows on the road,” says Urban. “I’m honored to once again be asked to host the CMA Touring Awards and acknowledge and shower some love on all the hard workers behind the scenes that make it all happen.”

2024 Country Music Festivals Scheduled Across The U.S.

  • Tortuga Music Festival - Fort Lauderdale, Florida (April 5-7, 2024)

    Tortuga Music Festival will return to Fort Lauderdale Beach from April 5-7, 2024, with headliners Lainey Wilson, Hardy, and Jason Aldean. The three-day, multi-stage music festival originally launched in 2013 bringing some of the biggest names in country music right to the beach.

  • Stagecoach Festival - Indio, California (April 26-28, 2024)

    The Stagecoach Festival has become one of the biggest country festivals and tourist attractions across the United States. Although it is already sold out for 2024, fans can join a waitlist to purchase tickets. The three-day festival hosted in Indio, California will welcome Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, and Morgan Wallen as headliners next year.

  • CMA Fest - Nashville, Tennessee (June 6-9, 2024)

    The CMA Fest is a four-day country music festival held in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Fans from across the United States and even all over the world head to Music City for nonstop days filled with country music. The 2024 CMA Fest lineup will be announced closer to the festival dates, however, passes are now on sale.

  • Carolina Country Music Fest - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (June 6-9, 2024)

    Yes, Carolina Country Music Fest is sadly sold out already, however, you can join the waitlist now for tickets. We highly suggest doing so as the 2024 lineup includes headliners Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Parker McCollum, Old Dominion, Lady A, and more.

  • Barefoot Country Music Fest - Wildwood, New Jersey (June 20-23, 2024)

    If you’re looking for a beach vacation next summer, then look no further than Wildwood, New Jersey. The Barefoot Country Music Fest will return with headliners Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Old Dominion in 2024.

  • Country Fest - Cadott, Wisconsin (June 27-29, 2024)

    Country Fest was founded over 30 years ago and has become the largest three-day Country Music Fest and camping event in the United States. The festival will welcome headliners Eric Church, Keith Urban, and Jake Owen. Country Fest, which was previously nominated for Festival of the Year at the ACM Awards, will return to Cadott, Wisconsin June 27-29, 2024.

  • Country Jam USA - Eau Claire, Wisonsin (July 18-20, 2024)

    Country Jam USA will welcome Hardy, Brothers Osborne, Thomas Rhett, Ernest, Shane Smith & The Saints, and many more to Eay Claire, Wisconsin in 2024. The three-day annual country music festival first launched in 1990, making it one of the longest-running country festivals.

  • Rock The South - Cullman, Alabama (July 18-20, 2024)

    Are you ready to Rock The South with some of the biggest names in country music? Rock The South is returning to Cullman, Alabama July 18-20, 2024 with headliners Eric Church, Hardy, and Jelly Roll. The three-day festival offers a VIP experience, Honky Tonk Hideaway, and much more.
