“World On Fire” was already an infectious country hit, but now, it’s party time. The VAVO remix for Smith’s smash hit follows the release of the singer-songwriter’s acoustic video, “World On Fire” (Bonfire Version).
Smith’s “World On Fire” is the title track on his debut album, which dropped back in April. “I wrote ‘World On Fire’ alongside Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips, and producer Lindsay Rimes. The song touches on aspects of the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, CA, but is used as a metaphor for a failed relationship,” Smith said.
Following several teaser clips posted by VAVO on Instagram and TikTok, Smith posted a video of himself quite simply jamming out to the “YEEDM” remix on Instagram captioned “obsessed with this remix of “World On Fire” by VAVO!!!!” You can watch the video here.
VAVO has previously released remixes for Luke Combs’ “Fast Car,” Lee Brice’s “One Of Them Girls,” Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night,” and most recently, Dylan Scott’s “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us” as part of their “A YEEDM Christmas.”
If you’re interested in seeing the guys of VAVO live, they are currently on tour through the end of December with shows scheduled in Arizona, New York, Florida, and Texas.
In the coming weeks, Smith will embark on his own headlining ‘World On Fire Tour 2024’ with special guests Dylan Schneider and Aidan Canfield. He is also one of the support acts on Morgan Wallen’s ‘One Night At A Time 2024 Tour.’ And, of course, he will return to perform at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California next April.
