The 26-year-old accompanied his new gritty track with a music video that highlights the complexities of life on the road as well as all of the highs and lows that come from it. Marlowe’s video was shot on his tour bus with his long-time band and can be seen heading out of Nashville.
The new single is an introduction to the country star’s next chapter of music following his 2022 debut album, We Were Cowboys, featuring “Sober As A Drunk,” “Giving You Up,” and “Steady Heart.”
Marlowe previously said of his debut album, “I wanted a body of work that resembles my life and upbringing. These songs were shaped with the different influences I grew up listening to such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, George Jones, Brooks & Dunn, and Ray Charles. You will even hear some classic rock and roll and some influences of early 2000’s rock.”
Marlowe is currently out on the road for his headling ‘I Can Lie Tour’ with special guests Elvie Shane and Matt Shuster after completing a trek over the summer with Luke Bryan and Jordan Davis.
