Jessie James Decker is in full holiday mode and has surprised her fans with an early Christmas present. The country singer released a brand new Christmas EP, Decker the Halls, on Friday, November 3.
“My new Christmas record Decker The Halls is out everywhere now!! It was so important for me to capture that classic holiday sound I grew up with. I hope you love the new originals and some of my all time favorites on here!! Link in bio to listen,” Decker shared on Instagram.
The six-track holiday EP, Decker The Halls, includes both classic and original Christmas songs. Decker’s children, daughter Vivianne, and sons Eric and Forrest join her for “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and her sister, Sydney Bass, mother Karen Parker, and sister-in-law, Ali James, sing with her on “Away In Manger.”
Decker shared an adorable clip of her kids alongside her husband Eric Decker behind the mic with the caption, “So much fun having the whole family in the studio for the first time on my Christmas record. Here’s a little behind the scenes look.”
Decker The Halls Track List:
- Top Of My List

The 35-year-old’s Christmas EP follows the release of her new songs, “(Can’t Do Life) Without You)” and “I’m Gonna Love You,” as well as her new cookbook, Just Eat. The cookbook features more than 100 easy-to-follow recipes which were all inspired by Decker’s family, her travels, and her home garden.
Aside from the release of new music and a cookbook, it’s going to be a very busy holiday season for the Decker family. Jessie James and Eric announced back in August that they are expecting their fourth child together.

I was definitely one of those people during the pandemic that put my Christmas decorations up entirely too early. My family needed it. Studies show that holiday decorations improve your mood, and it definitely did the trick those years.
Psychologist Deborah Serani told TODAY that holiday decorating creates a neurological shift that can produce happiness.
“I think anything that takes us out of our normal habituation, the normal day in, day out … signals our senses, and then our senses measure if it’s pleasing or not.”
Scientifically speaking, decorating for Christmas will make you feel good because it gives you a spike in dopamine. That’s the chemical that tells your brain, “Yeah. This is good.”
Why do Christmas decorations trigger happy feelings?
There are several different reasons:
- The bright lights
- The colors
- The excitement that comes when you light the tree for the first time.
We all remember this scene from Christmas Vacation. When those lights came on, it was magical! Until it wasn’t. But let’s not focus on that …
