“You will hear full songs from the new album for the first time ever and see footage you’ve never seen before. Tickets are on sale now! Go get yours at dollyrockstarevent.com ” Parton shared on Twitter.
The first-listen movie event for her fans will include an exclusive interview with Parton and will take place on Wednesday, November 15 with select encores on Thursday, November 16.
As Parton always does, she finds a way to give back with every project and event she launches. The country legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Music Will and their global partner organizations.
Parton teamed up with some of today’s biggest stars and Rock music’s most legendary artists on Rockstar including Sting, Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, Ann Wilson, Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Brandi Carlile, and more to create the thirty-track collection.
Parton has previously released tracks such as the chart-topping hit and original song “Bygone” (feat. Rob Halford), “World On Fire,” and “Let It Be.” The 77-year-old first introduced the Rockstar album at the 2023 ACM Awards with a live performance of “World On Fire.”
It was recently announced that Parton will perform live at halftime in Arlington, Texas for the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game. It has become the most-watched regular season game of the year, and for 2023, the Cowboys will take on the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium.
Dolly Parton’s Rockstar album is due out on November 17.
