Marlowe originally teased the track to his more than 400,000 followers on TikTok back in March. He posted a video (which you can watch here) sitting next to Scott on a tour bus while playing his guitar captioned “Should we drop this?”
Marlowe’s “Boys Back Home” follows the release of his debut EP, Dirt Road When I Die. The rising country star co-wrote all eight tracks on the project which features his single, “Record High.”
āTheĀ Dirt Road When I Die EP is really the first project Iāve gotten to put out,ā Marlowe said. āIām really excited about all of these songs and it feels super authentic to me, which is what I wanted it to be. Itās got a lot of energy and a lot of songs for the live show, but also some that mean something to me. It was really fun to put together a project from top to bottom, and I hope yāall love it.ā
The new music doesn’t stop there from the Georgia native. Marlowe recently teamed up with fellow country singer Avery Anna for a powerful new duet, “I Will (When You Do),” now available with a music video “to serve the sad girls AND boys.”
If you’re looking to catch a live performance by Marlowe in the near future, you’re in luck. He’s currently out on the road as a supporting act for Hardy’s The Mockingbird & The Crow Fall Tour through December.
Marlowe also announced his very own headlining tour this week. The ‘Dirt Road When I Die Tour‘ will kick off on February 1 in Mobile, Alabama with more cities to be announced soon.
