You'll want to keep an eye out for Kylie Morgan, especially now that her debut album has been released. The rising country star dropped Making It Up As I Go, a 12-track collection, on Friday, October 13.
Morgan first introduced the album with the release of her single, "If He Wanted To He Would," and the title track, "Making It Up As I Go." The singer-songwriter co-wrote or wrote each of the twelve songs featured on Making It Up As I Go.
“I hope that when people hear this album, they self-reflect and love themselves in the current state they’re in,” shares Morgan. “I hope anyone who is listening sees themself within these songs and that it serves as the soundtrack to your journey. Along the way, I hope you find the words that you may not know how to say through the music. ’Cause if we’re all being honest…we’re just making it up as we go."
Early Days
Morgan knew at the age of 15 that she belonged in Nashville making music. She posted a photo to her Instagram account after seeing her new album displayed down on Broadway, commenting, "13 years later & here we are in a way I could never imagine. Huge thank you to everyone who has listened & downloaded my life’s work."
In honor of the album release, Morgan also released a new music video for her track, "Country Girl," which you can now watch below. Plus, you can catch her performing out on the road as a support act on Old Dominion's 'No Bad Vibes Tour.'

11 TV Shows You Can Stream With Country Stars: Reba, Lainey
When Hollywood actors went on strike for the first time in forty years last week, production on all sets stopped. That affected all country stars acting in TV or movies.
The strike will not affect reality shows like American Idol and The Voice, full of country music royalty helping young budding stars' dreams come true. Those shows will go on as scheduled, giving us all the chance to see Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay sitting in red chairs on The Voice as first-time coaches on the show.
According to the guidelines, SAG-AFTRA members cannot attend premieres, do interviews for completed work, go to awards shows, attend film festivals, or even promote projects on social media while the strike is in effect. They are also prohibited from attending conventions such as Comic-Con to promote any past or present work made under a SAG-AFTRA contract.
The strike will affect those country stars that have done a lot of acting in the past, including Tim McGraw, McEntire, Lainey Wilson, Randy Houser, and more.
We searched for what to watch on TV and streaming services during the strike, which could last for months. For you, we gathered some TV shows already on streaming services where you can watch your favorite country stars flexing their acting skills, talking about their career in documentaries, and more.
