Tim McGraw: What Makes His 26-Year Marriage Work
Tim McGraw talked to ET Canada this week before his next album release, Standing Room Only, which will be out on August 25. In the new interview, McGraw discussed his 26-year marriage to Faith Hill.
Tim and Faith will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary in October (10/6). McGraw said, “We always say we’re 27 years coming up; we always say it’s like 96 in show business. It’s almost like dog years.”
Tim also said he didn’t know if there was a “key” to their marriage but that the couple made a commitment early on when they decided to get married and have kids. He noted that they “wouldn’t just walk out the door when problems arose.”
Tim laughed when asked about his three grown daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey, saying, “They’re brutally honest.” He added that from day one, the couple was going to raise their girls to be “strong, independent and fierce” and that they wanted the girls to have their “own minds” and have their “own opinions.”

McGraw recently announced plans for his 2024 “The Standing Room Only Tour.” The tour will hit arenas across 30+ cities starting March 14, 2024. Carly Pearce will join him on all dates as direct support.
