Shania Twain Announces New Las Vegas Residency
Shania Twain is currently at her Switzerland home taking a break before she resumes her “Queen Of Me Tour” with dates in Europe in September.
Shania has announced that her “Come On Over” Residency will launch in May 2024 at the 7,000-seat Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The residency will be 24 shows set for May, August, September, November, and December. This marks Twain’s third career residency, following her “Still the One” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (2012-14) and the more recent “Let’s Go!” Residency at Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood (2019-22).
Shania talked with Billboard about the new Las Vegas gig, saying she wants to “change things” up and “evolve.” She noted that the whole theater would be her “playroom for a while.” She also said that she loves doing residencies because she gets to “consistently build a show” that she doesn’t have to worry about moving around.
Shania also said that It’s a very different approach to production when you have the luxury of things being maybe a “little more fragile” that you couldn’t take on the road. She loves that “controlled environment” and that the custom element of her production is a “luxury.”
The new slate of shows will take place in May (10, 11, 15, 17, 18, 23, 25, and 26), August (23, 24, 29, and 31), September (1, 4, 6, and 7), November (29 and 30) and December (4, 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14). Tickets go on sale on August 21.

Twain chatted on her recent podcast and revealed that she is a massive fan of Beyonce and would love to meet the superstar at some point down the road.
Shania said of Beyonce, who she has seen several times, “She kind of reminds me of Tina Turner, or she should be the daughter of Tina Turner or something like that.” She added that she feels Beyonce is “so spicy and dynamic” and thinks she is one of the hardest-working people she has heard of.
Twain went on in the same podcast to talk about her friendship with Elton John, who she’s been on stage with “a couple of times.” She noted that they have sung together and crossed paths “many times” over the years.
