Morgan Wallen Gets Hit With Cowboy Boot While On Stage
Morgan Wallen played to sold-out crowds over the weekend in St. Louis, and after one show, he was hit straight in the chest with a glittery cowboy boot that one fan threw on stage at him. The incident happened while Morgan was signing some items for fans in the front rows on stage.
In a video posted by a fan, Morgan signs one fan’s cowboy hat, and then, as he bends down, a glittery cowboy boot hits him in the chest. He pauses for a moment, looks a bit annoyed, and then, as hard as he can, tosses the boot thrown at him in the opposite direction. Wallen then returns to the fans and signs a poster.
One fan posted a short eleven-second video clip of the moment on TikTok. They wrote over the video, “P.S. Son’t chuck your boot at Morgan Wallen while he’s signing autographs because he’s gonna get big mad, and you’re gonna go home without your boot.”

Wallen’s at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Morgan celebrated the final night (June 23) at the home of the Chicago Cubs backstage with students from the nearby Baker and Bowen High Schools. The cause for the celebration was a presentation of a $100k check from Wallen’s charity, The Morgan Wallen Foundation, to revitalize South Chicago’s Bessemer Park baseball field.
Wallen said in a statement, “Our mission with the Morgan Wallen Foundation is to support youth programs in the areas of sports and music. We are thrilled to donate $100k to Bessemer Park to give the kids a place to play ball here in South Chicago.” He added, “This donation, combined with being back on stage performing for my fans tonight at Wrigley, is a true doubleheader for me.”
Morgan’s donation to the field, the home field of Baker and Bowen High School students, complemented a previous $150k donation from Cubs Charities. Altogether, the $250k donated to the park will contribute to a fully upgraded diamond with a new backstop, side wings, and dugouts, including extended side wings, and will include rehabilitating the playing surface for multiple levels of play.
