Gabby Barrett’s New Video Features Her Two Kids
Gabby Barrett’s new video for her song “Glory Days” features appearances from her two children: 2-year-old Baylah May and 8-month-old Augustine Boone, as well as her husband Cade Foehner. The video depicts a family and shows Gabby, her husband, and two kids in a park picnicking, on the swings, and having family fun, although the children’s faces are never seen.
Gabby said of writing the song in a recent interview, “I wrote [“Glory Days”] with a couple of friends, and we’re just talking about all the life that I’ve gone through within the last couple years. I think it’s pretty abnormal to what normally happens at this age for certain people, 23, 2 kids, and all the things happening with music. And I’ve been married for four years.”
She added, “Those are the times that you look back on per se. And I just remember my parents kind of saying, oh, those are the glory days. Those are the good old days. And so I was like, well, I’m in my glory days right now.”
The song has already had some success on country radio, and Barrett said in a statement, “This song’s simple message means so much to me and my family, and it brings me so much joy to know it’s really connecting with everyone.”

Miranda Lambert has been doing a lot of co-writing songs with fellow artists in the last year or so, including co-writing with Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and now Gabby Barrett.
Gabby said in a recent interview, “I wrote a song on the album that was written with Miranda Lambert. That’s very fun. And there are so many people in the Nashville community that I haven’t gotten to write with that I did this time around. So there’s just a lot to look forward to.”
Barrett said in the same interview about her upcoming album, “I’m almost done with it, so that’s really exciting. Early Fall is the game plan to get it released. Hopefully, we can even release some music before that.”
