“Starting Over”

According to fan Jason Berthiaume, who was standing five feet from the rowdy fan, here’s what happened: “The guy that got kicked out had definitely been drinking and tried to push his was into the tightly packed crowd who had been there waiting to hear Chris for a couple [of] hours. As you can imagine, not much space to move, let alone a new person to enter who decided to show up late and drunk. When people wouldn’t let him in, he decided to argue and tried to start a fight….you can imagine why we cheered when Chris actually saw what was happening and addressed it.”
That’s when Chris got on the microphone and said to them “We’re all trying to have a good time. You do too. And if this is what you think’s a good time then get the hell out.”
He instructed his band to start the song “Starting Over,” over. The crowd applauded Chris for stopping his set. Chris Stapleton is off to Syracuse, New York to sing the show that was rescheduled due to the Canadian Wildfires.
