For those Americans waiting on ordering their free COVID-19 tests from the government, the website to order the tests is online a bit early.

COVIDTests.gov was expected to start accepting orders on Wednesday, but an "Order free at-home tests" button was added today (1/18), which brings users to Usps.com/covidtests to order four at-home free tests.

According to the site, "Residential households in the U.S. can order one set of 4 free at-home tests from USPS.com."

Here’s what you need to know about your order:

Limit of one order per residential address
One order includes 4 individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests
Orders will ship free starting in late January

A credit card isn't needed to order the free tests, and there is no cost. The tests are part of the Biden administration's purchase of 500 million tests last month (December) to help tackle a record surge in infections.

USA Today reported that White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday (1/18) the site is in its beta phase to allow troubleshooting. She noted, “We can’t guarantee there won’t be a bug or two but the best tech teams across the administration and the postal service are working hard to make this a success.”
