Miranda Lambert continues the creative streak around her latest album, Postcards from Texas, with the release of a humorous new lyric video for the fan-favorite track "Armadillo."

The video was created by artist Ceci Mulia, who expands on Lambert’s knack for vivid storytelling with a playful twist.

Lambert previously collaborated with Mulia on the popular lyric video for fellow Postcards from Texas track “Alimony,” released earlier this summer. Together, Mulia and Lambert have created a visual storyline that cleverly bridges the themes of both "Alimony" and "Armadillo." The two songs are united by Mulia’s imaginative style and ability to blend humor, surrealism, and a distinct visual flair, capturing the essence of Lambert’s Texas-rooted tales, bringing the tracks’ characters and plots to life in a way that’s as witty as the music itself.

Happy Birthday Miranda Lambert

Lambert celebrated her 41st birthday last weekend (11/10) and her husband, Brendan, posted to his Instagram a very sweet message and wished his wife a happy birthday. In the post, he revealed that she started golfing, and she’s pretty good at it.

Brendan captioned the photos of his wife hugging a horse, on a boat, eating tacos, and a video of her pretty good golf swing, "Another year around the sun. Happy birthday to the most selfless, loving, and genuine person I know. You are the most amazing animal mom, the best life partner, the most adventurous travel partner, and soon to be the most fun golf partner. Wishing you the best of birthdays. I love you (three red heart emojis)."

Miranda's ninth solo studio album, Postcards from Texas, has been out for a few months via Republic Records.

She told us, "I have not made a record in Texas since I was 18, my little independent album, so this is full circle – coming back home to the root, to kind of start fresh with a new label and sound and some new band members I haven’t played with. Being back home and really remembering why I love country music, it’s already leaning way more country, which I love."
