What Goes on in the Mind of a Country Boy? Luke Bryan Dishes All Out About His New Album
Backstage Country’s Kelly Ford spoke with Luke Bryan about his latest album, Mind of a Country Boy and they played a little game, “Country boy, thought or not.”
“Country Boy, Thought or Not”
Ford quizzed Bryan on various topics to gauge his “country boy-ness,” asking about his thoughts on how much mud is too much mud on his truck, if beer is too filling, what he thinks about coveralls and skinny jeans, and the pattern on his turkey choke. Safe to say, Bryan is a true country boy—and on behalf of all the women, we’re thankful for his choice to wear skinny jeans!
Being in Hollywood and one of the country artists who is living it big, Ford asked Bryan what’s the most “country boy” thing that he’s done lately. “Well, last week we were in Colorado packing out elk in the mountains,” he replied. “We had to wade it across rivers and when you pack out an elk, it’s a lot of work.” He added, “I left Tampa, Florida, and flew straight to the mountains. I landed at 3 AM, drove for two hours and walked straight into the elk hunt and woods.” He chuckled in disbelief, “So to go from Florida doing a concert to right into an elk hunt, this is the most ‘country boy’ thing I could think that I’ve done lately.”
