Brantley Gilbert’s ‘Tattoos’ Album Release Party + ‘Off the Rails’ 2024 Tour Dates
An album release is not complete without a party, and Brantley Gilbert, Backstage Country’s host for the week, sure knows how to throw one! His party took place last Friday, September 13 in Downtown Nashville. The event kicked off the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix as part of FREEDOM FRIDAY events.
Gilbert headlined the free concert with other artists including Shaylen, Noah Hicks, Mae Estes, Chase McDaniel, and Mackenzie Carpenter.
“World’s Largest Album Release Party”
One word to describe it is, as Gilbert puts it, “It was definitely rowdy. We shut down Broadway, so we set up a stage in the middle of Broadway with the largest pyro package we’ve ever done.” It was all part of his vision to make the Tattoos album release as epic as possible. “You know, talking with Scott Borchetta, he doesn’t do anything small.” He added, “He does it big and, we got on board together and put together something really special. We were proud of it. We were proud of the turnout. And we hope everybody had as much fun as we did.”
Brantley Gilbert’s “Off the Rails” 2024 Tour
Backstage Country’s Kelly Ford requested Gilbert bring her and all the listeners backstage at the tour and tell everyone what goes on behind the curtain. “To be completely honest with you, especially since I’ve been married and then you have kids it changes even more back there. And most of my guys are married now or at least have girlfriends. So, it’s definitely a different vibe backstage than it used to be.” Spoken like a true family man, Gilbert added, “I wanted to create an environment where everybody felt safe bringing their family out or having their wives surprise them on the road, not having to worry about them running into some bulls***, you know? So, it’s a good bit different backstage, but we’re family men. We really are.”
