Morgan Wallen Dominates CMA Awards Nominations
The CMA Awards have announced their nominations, and Morgan Wallen leads all artists with seven. Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson trail with five nominations each, and Lainey Wilson and Post Malone have four nominations each.
Lainey Wilson won the Entertainer of the Year award last year, and she is nominated again this year. She’s up against Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, and Chris Stapleton.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, The CMAs are voted on by members of the Country Music Association, which includes artists, executives, songwriters, musicians, and other behind-the-scenes professionals from the country music industry. Qualified singles and albums must have been first released or reached peak national prominence during the eligibility period, which was July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
The CMA Awards will air on November 20 on ABC, airing live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
