Lainey Wilson has been dropping a lot of songs and a few music videos lately. Her latest song and music video is from her upcoming Whirlwind album, and the song is called "4x4xU. She posted about the song and video on Instagram.

She captioned a clip of the music video; "This album kept me in touch with reality while I was getting my footing living the dream. As I continue to share my story, I hope you find yours in mine. This one's about feeling at home with the one you love. That's a special sense of peace and freedom if you ask me."

Wilson added, "Share this one with someone who makes you feel like you. '4x4xU', the song and music video, are both out now."

Before she released "4x4xU," she released the music video for "Hang Tight Honey," a song she sang at the May ACM awards in Texas. The video for "Hang Tight Honey" is a prequel to her "4x4xU" music video.

She posted to Instagram, "'Hang Tight Honey,' the official music video is out now. In more ways than one, "4x4xU" is a continuation of my story and a direct follow-up to Hang Tight Honey. So we had to make a couple of music videos to match The "4x4xU" music video."

Lainey's almost three million Instagram followers loved the new video, and many commented. One fan wrote, "'I will always love you' when you come to Fresno." Another fan said, "It's an amazing song." One more fan commented, "Lainey Wilson, making country music good again! Thank you."

Wilson performed on the Today Show last week and chatted with the hosts about her upcoming album, Whirlwind.

Lainey said of the new project before she performed, "I feel like writing this record and recording this record; it made me feel at home, and it brought me a lot of peace when my life was constantly changing." She added that she hopes that when everybody gets to hear it on August 23, it will make them feel "the same way."

Wilson also could not help but mention the strain of performing so early in the morning. She said, "It's pretty early," but she was having "so much fun." She noted she was not a "morning person," but she might be if she could do mornings like this every morning.

While in the Big Apple, Lainey performed at Radio City Music Hall. She said that was a "bucket list moment" for her and her whole crew.
